KaBella is on the Yellow team and they have decided to call themselves the HORNETS.
She has cute little pink cleats, yellow, red, and pink soccer socks, and her "own" soccer ball. We wrote her name on her ball in marker, and she also drew some pictures of soccer players and games! (It makes it much easier to pick out since all the kids balls are the same style.
Bells is quite the little soccer player! (Must be all that "advice" she is getting from her older brother) During practice she learned how to dribble, pass, and stop the ball. She was even able to keep it away from other players.

Her first game was this past Saturday. She was totally pumped and ready to kick the ball into the goal. Her coach (he is the one kneeling down by the kids) had a quick meeting with the kids before the game started to remind them of what to do. Then is was game time!

That feeling of "totally pumped" and ready to have "fun" for Bells didn't last the whole game. BUT, I can say that Bells was not the only one that felt this way. Actually ALL 7 of our players had their "own" little moments. Some with tears, and some just refusing to play at all. Bella seemed to accomplish both.
She had BIG tears!

And she had the "I'm not playing" attitude! So she stood in the middle of the field and watched as the other kids chased the ball. You can see her coach even coaxing her to run, but she still just stood there. (Yes, Rob and I were both yelling "Run Bells, go kick the ball" and NO that didn't help either)

Regardless of when/how the kids threw their fits, we SLOTTERED the Black Panthers! And the team ends every game and practice with Coach holding the ball and moving it in a circle with all the kids in a circle with their hands on the ball making a buzz buzz sound. Then they throw their hands in the air and yell HORNETS! Its really cute!

Best of all once the game was over, Will (one of Bells team-mates) handed her a fruit snack and a juice box.
Bells even stated "that was fun" and let me take one more picture of her by the goal!
