We were so glad to have Papa Bud, Nana, and Kristi Dawn come to visit last week! Here are a few things that happened while they were here.
-Played the WII, Bowling, Baseball, Shooting Games, Zelda, Ben 10....and any other games that Gunner could sucker anyone into playing with him.
-Made quilts for the baby. It started out with only 3 and ended up being like 8. Thanks mom for sewing so much and Grannie, Aunt Barb, and Kristi Dawn for helping with the tying, and of course Papa for keeping Bella occupied.
-Eggs-
Of course the visit wouldn't be the same if we didn't get any eggs from the "barm" (farm+barn)
Here is Gunner with one of our white "store" bought eggs compared to Nana and Papa Buds "real" chicken eggs.......they just don't compare!
-Proved that Nana has more patience than mom!!!
Gunner stated to Nana more than once that "his mom" does not have patience! Not only did Nana teach Gunner how to tie his shoes last week, she also taught him how to ride his bike. Gunner said Nana talks "soft" and nice, not like mom who yells. (in my defense that is my way of saying just tuffin up and do it, if you fall off or crash you just get your butt back on darn-it)
Thank goodness for Nana's!!
We drove around the property on the Golf Cart. It was cold and thank goodness Grandpa Earl had a blanket for us. We saw some of the deer, but mostly just followed Gunner on his dirt bike...
he is a speed demon and is starting to do tricks like no hands, and feet straight out.
Not all the bucks have lost there horns, but Rob and Papa Bud were able to find a few sheds while they were out riding horses and walking around.

-Ultrasound-
Just the girls went to the hospital for ultrasound #5. Baby is doing well, and was so big that we couldn't get a good picture, and didn't really see much other than a good heart beat and a good shot of his spine. (what a stinker already!)
Cabela's Catastrophe-
We (Bud, Ellen, Kristi, Rob, Jessie, Gunner, KaBella, and Grannie) decided to go to Cabela's to go shopping. While on the drive the excursion started acting funny (like no power) but we made it to the store so we went in. Rob stayed to take a look and realized that the alternator had just died. Don't laugh...just yet....Good thing Grandma (Robs mom) and Uncle Pete (Robs brother) are willing to come help us out. But wait, it gets better...They get the excursion on the trailer, and the tire goes flat....

don't laugh yet.....then the jack wont work. So we get out the mobile compressor....and it is not pumping up the tire. So they run back into Cabela's to buy another heavy duty jack so we can just change the tire. And then we headed down the road. Rob, Pete, Bud, and Bella in one vehicle with the trailer, and Ellen, Jessie, Sheila, Dorothy, and Gunner in the other. (your still not laughing yet right?) Then we start to smell something hot, so we call the first vehicle and tell them. Of course we pull in to the closest Gas station....

and find that we broke a spring on the trailer because the excursion was so heavy. Okay laugh, cause right now I'm wondering what else could go wrong right? Anyways long night short, we left the excursion there,
Sheila and Pete drove everyone home, and Rob and Pete went back that night with a bigger trailer. And the next morning they replaced the alternator and all is well.
-Hunting-
-Hunting-
Rob and Papa Bud went to the Club to go hunting. Looks like they did pretty well!
They were originally going to go on Thursday, but due to snow and drama with the Excursion they went on Friday while we went to the......

-Discovery Museum-
Guns loves this place! He had a good time dragging Aunt Kristi all over, while Bella kept Nana and I busy.
-Bowling-
Who would have thought, Nana would not have won.......That's right, if it was the WII game she would have kicked all of our butts!
YEA!! to Aunt Kristi for winning!!
and NO that is not a bowling ball that I am hiding!
