School Field Trip

I have to say that I have really enjoyed volunteering as a class mom for Gunner's kindergarten class. I love being involved in the parties, the education, and the field trips. I was kinda sad that I was not going to be able to participate in this one, but I was glad that Rob wanted to or was willing to go in my place. I truly think it is so important to be as involved as we can in our children's education. I hope I will/can continue to juggle this volunteering with each on of my kids.
Gunner's class went to the Hogle Zoo for his last school field trip. I cant believe there is only 4 more weeks left, this year has flown by so fast!

They split the kids up into groups of 4. Rob had Bonnie, Amy, Gunner, and Cade in his group. They were the "blue hats" zoo group.

Gunner of course wanted to hang with more of his buddies, the "black hats" zoo group! (Girls are not as fun I guess) So Rob and Jamie (Jaxon's mom) decided to pair up and keep all 8 kids together.
Of course Rob bought them Slurpee's which makes him an even cooler dad.

Gunner did say the field trip was too short and there was not enough time to see everything, but they had a lot of fun!
Even the bus ride home was fun!
