Camping and Fishing

This week we went camping up at Tibble Fork Reservoir, just past the Cabelas in Lehi. We had a fun time. For the record...this was my first camping trip with Rob.....you know, sleeping in a tent, in the mountains etc...
We only went for one night, but it was good to get away even for a day!
Bella thought the tent was fun, she kept squealing and jumping on everyone's sleeping bags.

We pitched out tent close to the river, so the kids were constantly playing in the water!

Of course we roasting marshmallows! I did most of the roasting although Guns was really getting the hang of getting them to be nice and brown and not just crispy black! (we fed lots of the black ones to the dogs!)

I don't know if this picture shows it that well, but Bella was absolutely filthy, and loved every second of it.

Ruger on the other hand seemed to do most of this....

The fishing at the reservoir wasn't good at all. We didn't get even a bite, and while we were there no one else did either.

Guns and I even tried going out into the water to get closer to the middle. The water was freezing, and our legs and toes were numb by the time we climbed on the rock! It was fun until guns went to go back to the shore...he lost his footing and was drenched from head to toe!

We had a fun time, we played hard the whole day and were exhausted by the time we left.
